Ingredients:
- 2 Tsp Ghee
- 2 Tbsp Milk
- 1 Tbsp Water
- 5 Tbsp Sugar
- 2 Bowl Cashew
- 2 Bowl Almond
- A Pinch of Saffron
- Green Food Colour
- 1/2 Bowl Raw Sugar
Method:
- Take a small dish in which put 2 drops of water and add saffron to it and keep it aside,
- Now Grind Almond, Cashew & sugar separately,
- Mix all grounded ingredients together,
- Add Ghee and Milk in to it and mix like a dogue,
- Now take small portion of the dogue and make a shape of Modak,
- Repeat it till the dogue is over,
- Then take raw sugar and stick it all over the Modak,
- Now take 3 drops of water and add food colour to it and mix with your finger tip and keep it aside,
- By now Saffron water also must have become colourful, if not, mix it a bit with your finger tip,
- Now take saffron water on your finger and put a drop on the tip of the modak , repeat it on all the modaks ,
- Now take the food colour water, take it on your finger and tap on the remaining part of the modak,
- Take the modaks in a plate and keep it in fridge for 1 hour.
- Now the modaks are ready to eat.
