Pav Bhaji

Ingredients:

  • 3 Cloves
  • 3 Tbsp Oil
  • Bread Rolls
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 Tbsp Butter
  • 2 Lemons Juice
  • 1 Tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 Tsp Cumin Seeds
  • A Pinch of Asafoetida
  • 1/2 Red Chili Powder
  • 1 Big Dollop of Butter
  • 2 Tsp Coriander Powder
  • 3 Tbsp Pav Bhaji Masala
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 Onions Finely Chopped
  • 1 Tsp Dry Mango Powder
  • 2 Tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 Capsicum Finely Chopped
  • 2 Tomatoes Finely Chopped
  • 2 Potatoes Boiled and Mashed
  • 4 Green Chilies Chopped Finely
  • Boiled Vegetables ( Cauliflower, Carrot, French Beans, Cabbage, Green Peas)

For Serving:

  • 1 Lemon Juice
  • 1 Onion Chopped Finely
  • Coriander Leaves Chopped Finely

Method:

  1. Grind the boiled vegetables and keep aside,
  2. Keep the mashed potato aside separately
  3. Mis all the Dry Powders in a bowl (pavbhaji masala, green chillies, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric power, garam masala,
  4. cumin seeds , cloves & dry mango powder )
  5. Now take a pan and heat put 4 Tbsp butter in it,
  6. Once heated, add a pinch of asafetida , ginger & garlic paste, onions & capsicum, let it cook till onion becomes translucent
  7. Then add tomatoes, salt and the dry powder mixture and let it cook for 10 min,
  8. Then add the grinded Vegetables and again let it cook for 6 to 8,
  9. Now add mashed potatoes & lemon juice and cook for another 7 to 9 min,

To Cook Bread Rolls:

  1. Cut the bread roll at the centre,
  2. Apply butter inside and out,
  3. Put it on the heated pan inwrds,
  4. Turn it around in a minuit the outside,
  5. Once it becomes golden brown, remove the bread roll from the pan
  6. And serve it with Bhaji

To serve :

  1. Take a bowl , add bhaji in it, sprinkle Onion, Coriander Leaves & 2 Tsp Lemon Juice,
  2. Put 2 Hot Bread Rolls in the plate and serve hot Pav Bhaji.
