Mughlai Biryani

Ingredients:

  • 3 Onions
  • 3 Tomatoes
  • ½ Cup Milk
  • 1 Bowl Curd
  • 5 Green Chilies
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • Ginger Garlic Paste
  • ½ Bowl Mint Leaves
  • 2 Pinches of Saffron
  • 3 Tbsp Ghee/Butter
  • 1 Bowl Basmati Rice
  • 1 Tsp. Garam Masala
  • 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • ½ Bowl Coriander leaves

Method:

  1. Wash and soak the rice for 15 min, then cook it in boil water with salt & half of the pudina from the bown in it
  2. Once its cooked, drain extra water from it and let it cool
  3. Then soak the saffron in milk
  4. Then heat oil in a pan then add the garam masala, onions & the remaining pudina from the bowl
  5. Mix and fry till onion changes colour.
  6. Then add ginger & garlic paste and fry on medium flame.
  7. Now add chilli powder, turmeric & tomatoes and stir, cook for some time till tomatoes becomes soft
  8. Then add curds & green chillies
  9. Then add coriander leaves & lemon juice.
  10. The curry is ready once the oil separates
  11. Now take a vessel wit lid, geese its base with 2 tbsp ghree then put rice in it , make circular space between the rice and add the curry into it
  12. Then pour 1 tbsp ghee on the rice
  13. Then pour milk on the rice and close the vessel wit lid
  14. Bake for about 15 min.
