Cabbage Poriyal

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • Salt To Taste
  • 6 Curry Leaves
  • 1  Tsp Lime Juice
  • 1 Tsp Cumin Powder
  • ½ Tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 Cabbage Cut Finely
  • 4 Tbsp Grated Coconut
  • 2 Garlic Clove Grated
  • ½ Tsp Split Black Gram
  • 2 Onions Chopped Finely
  • Pinch Of Turmeric Powder
  • 4 Green Chillies Chopped
  • ½ Tsp Black Pepper Powder

Method:

  1. Heat the oil in a pan.
  2. Add mustard seeds when it crackles add the split black gram and fry till it is light brown
  3. Then add green chillies, curry leaves & chopped onions and Fry on medium heat till onions changes colour
  4. Now add cabbage,cumin powder, black pepper powder, garlic clove, coconut & turmeric powder and mix well
  5. Then add salt and lime juice, Stir & fry and cover it.
  6. Cook on low flame for about 3  minutes.
  7. Cabbage must be half uncooked.
  8. Now serve hot with Roti.
