Coco Mutter

Ingredients:

  • Coriander
  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • 5 Tbsp Water
  • 3 Curry Leaves
  • 5 Cloves garlic
  • 1/2 Inch Ginger
  • 5 Tbsp Coconut
  • 1 Tsp white lentil
  • 1 Onion Chopped
  • 1 Cup Green Peas
  • 2 Tbsp Cashew Nuts
  • 1 Tbsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 Tomatoes Chopped
  • 1 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 Tsp Coriander-Cumin Powder

Method:

  1. Boil Green Peas in  a pressure cooker till 2 whistles
  2. Grind Coconut and Cashew together in a grinder
  3. Then Make a Paste of Ginger and garlic
  4. Now chop coriander, green chili, tomatoes & onion
  5. Now take green peas out of the pressure cooker and drain all water
  6. Then take a pan and put oil in it ,
  7. Once the oil is heated, add cumin seeds and white lentil
  8. Now add ginger-garlic paste and curry leaves to it
  9. Then add onion and stir, let it cook till onion changes colour
  10. Then add tomato and cook till it becomes tender
  11. Then add cashew-coconut paste and green peas
  12. Mix it and then add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander-cumin powder & water in to it
  13. Stir well and let it cook for 3-4 min
  14. And then sprinkle coriander over it and serve hot with coriander roti
