Dum Aloo

Ingredients:

  • Baby Potatoes
  • 2 Big Tomatoes
  • 2 Big Onions
  • 3 Green Chilis
  • 1 Small Piece of Ginger
  • 5 To 6 Garlic
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Tbsp Lime Juice
  • Bowl Yogur
  • 1 ½ Tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1 Tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 ½ Tbsp Garam masala
  • 1 Tbsp Cumin Seeds
  • Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil

Method:

  1. Prick all over and boil the baby potatoes,
  2. Make puree of Tomatoes.
  3. Grind together onion, garlic, ginger and green chilli,
  4. Mix Yogurt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder & garam masala
  5. Put oil in the frying pan, once heated, add cumin seeds
  6. Once cumin seeds start spluttering add ginger garlic, onion and green chilli paste
  7. Stir and let it cook for 1 minuit,
  8. Then add tomato gravy and stir, let it cook for 1 minuit
  9. Now add yogurt mixture, potatoes and salt mix well and let it cook for 1 more minuit.
  10. Serve hot with roti or paratha.
