Parvar Vegetable

Ingredients:

  • Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 Big Potato
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • Pinch of Asofetida
  • 5 To 6 Clove Garlic
  • 1 Tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 Tbsp Red Chili powder
  • 1/2 KG Parvar [Pointed Gourd]

Method:

  1. Wash and chop Parvar
  2. Chop Potato in Thin Strips
  3. Chop Garlic in to tiny pieces
  4. Now heat oil in a pan, once heated add asofetids, cumin seeds, mustard seeds & Garlic
  5. once the mustard seeds starts cracklin add potato and parvar together, mix well
  6. now add salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, mix well and cover the pan
  7. let it cook for 5 to 10 minuite on low flame,
  8. Then open the lid and let it cook till oil seperates.
  9. Serve hot with Roti.
