Rajasthani Chane

Ingredients:

  • 5 Cloves
  • 1 Onions
  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 2 Tbsp Ghee
  • Salt To Taste
  • 4 Green Chilies
  • 1-1/2 Cup Yogurt
  • 1 Tsp Cumin Seeds
  • Pinch of Asafoetida
  • 3 Black Cardamoms
  • 1/2 tbsp Garam Masala
  • 1 Cup Coriander Leaves
  • 1/2 Tbsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 Cup Kale Chane/Kabuli Chane
  • 2 Tbsp bengal Gram Flour (Besan)

Method:

  1. Soak chane in water over night
  2. Now pressure cook chane
  3. Let it cool and then mash all the chane slightly
  4. Now take a pan and heat oil & ghee in it ,then add cumin seeds
  5. When it start spluttering add garam masala and fry for 1 minute
  6. Now add asafoetida and green chilies
  7. Then add yogurt, flour, 1 cup water ,turmeric, coriander powder, red chili powder and coriander leaves
  8. Now stir and mix it , keep stirring in every 2 to 3 minuets till it boils
  9. Then mix chane with water and salt, Mix well.
  10. Now keep it on slow gas for 10 minutes, keep stirring occasionally
  11. When its done, garnish it with coriander leaves
