Doodhi Ka Halwa


  • 4 Cups grated Pumpkin (White)[Doodhi]
  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 1½ Cup Milk
  • 1 Tbsp Elaichi powder
  • 2 Tbsp Raisins [black kismis]
  • 2 Tbsp Cashews
  • 3 Tbsp Ghee


  1. Grate the pumpkin and keep aside
  2. Once the water drains out, squeeze out the rest of the water
  3. Put Ghee in a thick pan, then add grated pumpkin and Milk
  4. Mix and stir for 5 Min
  5. Then add sugar & milk ,stir continuously, cook till it becomes soft and dry
  6. Now add nuts and raisins and mix well
  7. Sprinkle elaichi powder and serve hot.
