Green Paratha


  • 1/2 Bowl Crumbled Paneer
  • 2 Small Green Capsicum
  • 1 Bunch Mint Leaves
  • 1/2 Bowl Green Peas
  • 2 Tbsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Bowl Wheat Flour
  • 1 Bunch Spinach
  • 1 Medium Onion
  • Ghee to Cook
  • Salt To taste
  • 6 Green Chili
  • Water


  1. Boil water, soak spinach for 3 Min, take it out drain the water,
  2. Grind spinach, mint leaves & green peas together,
  3. Chop onion, capsicum and green chilies finely,
  4. Now mix chopped and ground ingredients with wheat flour, crumbled paneer, capsicum, cumin seeds and salt,
  5. Mix to make a dough, if required add water little bit, and keep aside for 15 Min,
  6. Now the dough will be little sticky,
  7. Rub some dry flour on both of your palm, take little portion of dough to make round shape using your palm, (If dough sticks alot rub dry flour frequently on your palms till you make round)
  8. Once you have made round ball of the dough, keep the ball in one hand and press it slowly using other hand to make thick round shape of a biscuit size,
  9. Make rounds of whatever number of parathas you want to make,
  10. Now heat a pan, once heated spread 1 Tbsp Ghee in it, take one paratha and put it over the pan in ghee, now press it with your fingers to make biger round and thin paratha till it is as thin as you want, while making it thin if it sticks to your hand, rub little dry flour to hand and continue pressing,
  11. once paratha is spread pour ghree to the top part and spread on whole paratha and let the bottom cook, once the bottom part is cooked, turn the paratha upside down and let it cook,
  12. Once its cooked, serve hot with Onion Tomato Raita, Plain Curd, Green Chutny or sauce.
