Ingredients:
- 3 Onions
- 3 Tomatoes
- ½ Cup Milk
- 1 Bowl Curd
- 5 Green Chilies
- 1 Tbsp Lemon juice
- Ginger Garlic Paste
- ½ Bowl Mint Leaves
- 2 Pinches of Saffron
- 3 Tbsp Ghee/Butter
- 1 Bowl Basmati Rice
- 1 Tsp. Garam Masala
- 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 Tsp Red Chili Powder
- 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
- ½ Bowl Coriander leaves
Method:
- Wash and soak the rice for 15 min, then cook it in boil water with salt & half of the pudina from the bown in it
- Once its cooked, drain extra water from it and let it cool
- Then soak the saffron in milk
- Then heat oil in a pan then add the garam masala, onions & the remaining pudina from the bowl
- Mix and fry till onion changes colour.
- Then add ginger & garlic paste and fry on medium flame.
- Now add chilli powder, turmeric & tomatoes and stir, cook for some time till tomatoes becomes soft
- Then add curds & green chillies
- Then add coriander leaves & lemon juice.
- The curry is ready once the oil separates
- Now take a vessel wit lid, geese its base with 2 tbsp ghree then put rice in it , make circular space between the rice and add the curry into it
- Then pour 1 tbsp ghee on the rice
- Then pour milk on the rice and close the vessel wit lid
- Bake for about 15 min.
