Creamy Vegetable Soup


  • Salt
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 2 Tbsp Flour
  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • 2 Glass Water
  • 1 Chopped Onions
  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Clove Crushed Garlic
  • Vegetables – Sliced Celery, Peas, Cauliflower, Beans, Carrot [ Celery is a must ]


  1. Cut in to small pieces and wash the vegetables,
  2. Take them in a deep pan, add water, bay leaf and little bit of salt in it
  3. Cover and let it cook for some time till the vegetables are boiled
  4. Now remove from the heat, separate half of the remaining water from the pan[ don’t throw away the separated water]
  5. Add garlic in the boiled vegetables, and remove bay leaf
  6. Blend all the vegetables using a hand blender; do not make whole puree, some of the vegetables must be seen in pieces,
  7. You can add water that is separated if needed while blending the vegetables,
  8. Now take butter in a pan, once its melted and starts showing bubbles, turn the gas on slow heat, and stir for 5 to 10 seconds,
  9. Then add blended vegetables in it slowly,
  10. Not add salt as per taste, pepper & onions, and the bay leaf that was removed earlier,
  11. Stir well and let it cook for 5 min,
  12. You can add water if you need to make it thin Or let it heat till it becomes thick.
